For sellers, my fee is 3% of the final sales price. I also typically recommend offering a similar commission to a buyer’s agent to ensure strong exposure and competitive positioning in the market. For buyers, representation is formalized through a Buyer’s Representation Agreement. In most cases, I work with the listing agent to have my fee covered within the terms of the contract, so there is no direct out-of-pocket cost to you at closing. Real estate commissions have traditionally been factored into overall home values, and my approach is to keep the process straightforward, transparent, and aligned with current market practices.
